Tatevik Movsesyan

soprano. Tatevik Movsesyan was born in Yerevan. In 2005 she graduated from the Vocal-Theoretical Faculty of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, the class of Nonna Melkumova. While a student at the conservatory she participated in a number of concerts, competitions and festivals in Armenia and abroad. She sings a broad chamber and opera repertoire. Movsesyan is especially known for performances of Armenian modern music. She is the first performer of works by Artur Avanesov, Artur Akshelyan, Gevorg Badalyan, Jirair Shahrimanyan, Lianna Malhasyan, Hovik Sardaryan, Aram Hovhanissyan and others. She has performed all the vocal cycles by Tigran Mansuryan, including the premiere of his cycle «Canti paralleli» held in Gyumri. In 2012 Movsisyan participated to the International Vocal Competition after Rustem Yakhin in Tatarstan, got the 3rd prize and a diploma for the Best Performer of Rustem Yakhin Romance. Since 2014 she has been cooperating with the benevolence organization «Atken Armenian foundation» as a vocal tutor. She conducts master-classes in various regions of Armenia. Since 2014 she has been participating in the «Nagash Ensemble».
