Selected Works

From September 5 to 29, 2017, the High Art Fine Arts Center, in collaboration with the Armenian Collectors Club, presented the exhibition "Selected Works", bringing together outstanding examples of Armenian art within a single exhibition space. All of the exhibited works were drawn exclusively from private collections.

The exhibition offered a selection of Armenian art as seen through the eyes of Armenian collectors, spanning the period from the second half of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twenty-first century. It featured 30 works by 24 distinguished masters of Armenian classical and modern art, including Hovhannes Aivazovsky, Gevorg Bashinjaghian, Vardan Makhokhian, Yeghishe Tadevosyan, Vahram Gaifejyan, Martiros Saryan, Hovhannes Alkhazyan, Yervand Kochar, Arshile Gorky, Levon Tutundjian, Dmitry Nalbandian, Garzou, Grigor Petikyan, Sarkis Diranian, Arsen Shabanyan, Jean Jansem, Hakob Hakobyan, Vruyr Galstyan, Minas Avetisyan, Ashot Hovhannisyan, Hrachya Hakobyan, Seyran Khatlamajyan, Robert Elibekyan, and Varuzhan Vardanyan.
