At the \u201c50<sup>th <\/sup>Musica Sacra Virgo Lauretana\u201d festival (2010, Loreto, Italy), the YSCC performed the heritage of Komitas, which was broadcasted live on TV in more than 50 countries. In 2016 within the frames of the \u201cArmenian Contemporary Music Festival\u201d the Choir performed numerous pieces by Armenian contemporary composers for the first time.<br \/>\nWithin the framework of Armenian Culture Days in Germany, the Choir performed the \u201cLiturgy\u201d by Komitas for mixed choir and new pieces by T. Mansurian in Bonn, Halle, Wittenberg and Magdeburg then in Syria and Lebanon (1998). The famed Choir took part in the TV-marathon Yerevan \u2013 Moscow \u2013 Shushi \u2013 Bethlehem (2008). Dedicated to the 140<sup>th<\/sup> birth anniversary of Komitas, the Choir performed almost all choral masterpieces by the Great Master in the capital and regions of Armenia (2009).<br \/>\nWorld famous musicians \u2013 violist Kim Kashkashian and saxophonist Jan Garbarek, La Scala Theatre Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir led by Riccardo Muti, \u201cFrankfurter Kantorei\u201d led by Winfried Toll performed music together with the Choir.<br \/>\nWithin the frames of the project \u201cLuys I Luso\u201d dedicated to the 100<sup>th<\/sup> commemoration of Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, in tandem with the outstanding jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan the YSCC recorded album of sacred religious music arranged by the pianist himself for piano and choir (2014, ECM Records). T. Hamasyan and the Choir had long-term tour across Europe and in the cities of Turkey and Georgia (2015).<br \/>\nFor the first time ever only by this collective were performed the Blessings \u201cBerlin Liturgy\u201d by Komitas (2012), the 1<sup>st<\/sup> polyphonic liturgy by Kara Murza (2013) and the \u201cLiturgy of Mchitariants\u201d by A. Aytnyan and J. Byom (2014).<br \/>\nIn collaboration with Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and with three prominent Russian choirs the YSCC participated in opening ceremony of the first Armenian-Russian choral congress (2017). Along with numerous concerts, recordings and tours in 2017 the YSCC under the direction of maestro Topikyan, was working hard on recording the album of choral pieces by Willy Weiner. The premiere of the new program \u201cWilly Weiner and Friends\u201d was held in<br \/>\nFebruary 2018.<br \/>\nThe Choir has released 15 CDs.
