Komitas Museum-Institute invites you to the exhibition “Sound and Silence. The Musician and Musical Instruments Through the Centuries”. The exhibition will be on view from April 8th. The exhibition aims to shed light on the history of creation and development of musical instruments, their functions, the cultural context, the role of the musician and the master instrument-maker throughout history. Items from various sources are included in the exhibition, including but not limited to archaeological artefacts, digitized versions of manuscripts and gravestones, archival photographs, and traditional instruments.
