On March 31, the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited the Komitas Museum-Institute in Yerevan. During a cultural reception, he made an entry in the museum’s guestbook.

Opening his speech with a poem, President Steinmeier remarked:

“If the Federal President stands in the capital of Armenia and recites a spring poem, it can mean two things: Spring has truly arrived, and we are, as we’ve just seen, in the Komitas Museum, where German lyrical poetry has found a permanent home.”
