Dr. Thekla Kluttig studied history and political science in Bonn and Hamburg in 1987-1992. In 1995-1997, she defended her PhD thesis on the study of the GDR and was a higher archive service intern. Since then, she has been working in the Saxon archive administration as the head of the department in the main state archive in Dresden (2002-2007) and the head of the department in the Saxon State Archives (Leipzig State Archive) (since 2008). She is responsible for the archive of music publishers.
